Oh my goodness! My sweet baby girl is 1 year old! How is this even possible?! Well, Olivia actually turns 1 on the 16th, but we decided to have her party a little early since my parents were in town visiting. This little girl had so much fun being a princess for a day! I couldn’t believe she left her little crown on too! She was so sweet walking all around and laughing with everyone. She is so much fun at this age! I posted a few pics of the party this weekend on my Instastories and got a few questions on some of the decor. I will try my best to link everything below just in case you are looking for something specific. But if I miss anything feel free to reach out and I will help as much as I can!
I have known for a few months I wanted to do a “Princess in Paris” Theme. We leave for Paris in a few days and are so excited to take Olivia on an international adventure for her very first birthday! Paris is my favorite city in the whole world and I’m so excited to share this with my little love. It was so much fun planning this party and seeing everything come together. I have been planning for months and buying things here and there so it wasn’t so much all at once. I ended up making a few things myself to save some money and I borrowed a few things from some friends so I didn’t have to buy everything I needed for the party. You really have to save money wherever you can since everything adds up so fast!
I got some ideas from Pinterest but most things I already kind of had in my head what I wanted. I made a list in my phone of everything I needed for the party and started checking things off as I picked them up. This really helped keep me on track and make sure I didn’t forget anything. I ordered a few things off Etsy and found a lot of good things at Michael’s and HomeGoods. I ended up making the backdrop for the table since they were super expensive on Etsy. It was actually pretty easy and a lot of fun to make. I will be working on a tutorial for that soon. Olivia got so many good things for her birthday too I’m thinking of doing a post on my updated baby favorites. I’ve linked up everything I can from Olivia’s party but if I’ve missed anything just let me know!
cake stand | macaroons (from HomeGoods)
pink Eiffel Tower | cupcake tower (HomeGoods)
I made the backdrop; all ribbon from Hobby Lobby (will post a tutorial soon)
